Basically the Government has 2 options following Lewes's decision to challenge the ODPM ruling on 16 areas.
Option 1, which would suit BHA ideally, would be to accept that the ruling was flawed. This would mean that the decision would go back to the ODPM, and a new decision issued taking into account the 'Lewes objections'.
The second, more likely, option is that the Government will contest the objections and take the case to a Judicial Review. Hopefully at the same time some dates will be set for the review.
