Alan Navarro is battling to be fit for Brighton's trip to Leyton Orient. The midfielder limped off during last weekend's 1-0 defeat by Millwall with a foot injury. Albion initially feared he may have broken the foot but a precautionary X-ray showed it is just badly bruised. Navarro has resumed light training and will be assessed prior to kick-off with Dean Cox, who replaced him against the Lions, on standby to start. Defender Adam El-Abd is back in training five weeks after fracturing a metatarsal but Saturday's trip will probably come too soon. Centre-half Colin Hawkins remains the only long-term absentee and he is facing at least another three months on the sidelines after undergoing an Achilles operation last week.
